Everyone knows consistency wins. The hard part is not knowing it — it is surviving the third week, when novelty is gone and progress is not yet visible.

Anchor the session to something you already do

Do not schedule "10 minutes of study". Attach it to an existing habit: after the morning coffee, on the train, right after brushing your teeth. The existing habit becomes the reminder.

Make the minimum embarrassingly small

Your commitment should be one review session, not one hour. On bad days you do the minimum and keep the chain alive. On good days you overshoot naturally.

Track the streak, not the hours

Hours fluctuate with life. A streak only asks one question — did you show up? — and that is the question that predicts fluency.

Forgive the miss

One missed day is noise. Two in a row is the beginning of a pattern. The rule that works: never miss twice.
